PANADA'S DIARY GROUP 2 Nov.5-7

Today, Sunny and Selena brought me to the night market. The night market is filled with traditional culture and a lot of delicacies. We ate oyster cake as our dinner . The oyster cake is made of eggs, flour, oysters and vegetables. After dinner, we went to play games. First, we went to net-fishing but the net is made of paper and I had to be careful to keep net from breaking  or I couldn't get the fish home. Second, we went to play a game named "steel ball". If you push the steel ball into the hole with arrow and then you can get the present. Finally, we went to play another game . The boss gave me some rings made of wood. I threw the rings into whatever I wanted.  If I hit the target I could bring the gift home. I thought that today was a wonderful day with Sunny and Selena.

Today I go to Bodhisattva temple with Selena and Emily.
The temple was built in 1900.
It is a religious center of the village which Selena live in.
Selena told me when there is an important festival, the temple will be held downtown Temple Fair. And she told me "Mother Goddess of Mercy" is Taiwanese, Taiwan, Folk on the "Guanine Bodhisattva," the honorific title; in Taiwanese folk religion of Buddha is the most common, not only Buddhists worship, and most people almost every household has a statue of Guanine Bodhisattva.
And Taiwan to enshrine "Guanine Buddha" as the Temple of God, over six hundred, many believers.
Lantern hanging and has been extended to the main street of the village and Whole street lanterns are shining light in the evening.
However I feel very solemn and peaceful now.
