      It was windy and cool today. I went to Betty’s home. Her families were all very kind. Betty took me to have some local food.

     

 

        All I can say is “Yummy! Yummy!”

    Remember to try it when you visit Taiwan!

    
 This kind of food is only served in autumn or winter. There were two kinds of flavor: one was sweet, and the other one was salty. The sweet one contained red beans, peanuts and something like dumpling. The salty one contained vegetables and meatball. When I saw them, they looked so delicious that my mouth started watering.

After that, Betty took me to her church. Her church wasn’t very big but people there were approachable. I felt quite at ease with them. They were busy decorating the church since Christmas is coming. I tried my best to help them decorate. It was a lot of fun. I hope I can join their Christmas party. Oh, it’s a little late now. My eyes are almost closed. It’s time to say goodnight. Bye!^_^

December 4

It was warm and sunny morning outside. Enid took me to her home. Because she lived in the countryside, there were so many farms around. She took me to the farm which grew a lot of corns. They were so green and the air was very fresh. Corns were usually grown in autumn or winter because the weather would be nice to them. Seeing these green and healthy corns, I could even imagine the delicious corns and popcorn.

After taking me to the farm, Enid and I went to an elementary school. The school was doing some repairs, so Enid and I couldn’t go into the school. We stood in front of the main door and Enid helped me take pictures with the name of the school. It was getting hotter and hotter, and we were ready to go home and enjoyed our delicious lunch.

December 1

It was windy today. I went to Sylvia’s home. She took me to eat dinner after school. Because she lived in the village, we went home by bus. She took me to have some local food.

The store is that her relation launched into. Her aunt treated us to a meal. This food is famous in Taiwan. The country of origin of this food is Sylvia’s hometown. Its name is won ton in Chinese. When I took a mouthful of it, an idea entered my mind is that it was so delicious. It contained vegetables and meatball. We really had a good time for dinner.
